“The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma”

-Patrick Star (written by Walt Dohrn, Paul Tibbitt & Merriwether Williams)

Who am I?

Young, dumb, and full of promise.

A restless creative spirit whose mind races cortex-first towards the intricacies of the world around him. A personified Curious George (though I am much louder and more opinionated than the innocent primate). Like young George (after his capture), I grew up a “Big City” boy who spent summer weekends in “The Country.”

The title of this publication aptly describes my core as a writer, an observer, and a meticulous yapper. Also, calling one’s self a “Walking Contradiction” is so cliché.

Why am I here?

My interests are vast and eclectic (like my taste in music). Although I am a proud screenwriter, and have the privilege of working in film, TV, and digital entertainment, Coherent Rambler serves as an outlet for the unrequited fascinations of my meandering mind to swim freely, and find refuge among a sprawling reef.

…and I can poke fun at the absurdities of life as I witness it.

Why should you be here?

To be thoughtfully engaged (and entertained) by the sensibilities of a mind with a lot to say about some of the things that matter to him by blending personal anecdotes, cultural commentary, and societal analysis.
